The Outside the Classroom Curriculum (OCC) is a University-wide initiative designed to educate the whole student through the completion of a series of programs, activities, and experiences that complement each student’s academic studies.
Completing this incredible array of programs will empower students to develop skills and attributes that are absolutely necessary for success in today’s global society. OCC will help students maximize their Pitt experience and gain a competitive edge in whatever field they choose to pursue. Students who complete the OCC program will confidently be able to articulate and demonstrate tangible accomplishments that were achieved during their undergraduate careers to graduate schools, professional schools, and prospective employers.
